Keeping relationship strong for couples

Recipe for a peaceful and long lasting relationship:
  1. Never be mean to each other.
  2. Do not induce sarcasm in your conversations.
  3. Never try to over smart each other.
  4. Respect and appreciate individuality.
  5. Do not look for discrepancies in personalities rather celebrate goodness of each other.
  6. And never act on doubts, as they are biggest mines in a relationship.
Now by saying all this, I do not mean that one should ignore all the problems a couple may have, but once you have determined not to enter in to a conflict, I believe by keeping it simple and following above steps, rest of it can easily be dealt with.

@mindandbeyond: Well I believe you don't really have to. It might be true that being judgemental is natural, yet concentration on positives is most important thing in my opinion.

@herenownotforever: I really like your nick! lol and no I am not being sarcastic here :P and erm... some people enjoy ONLY being sarcastic, and that is you must avoid:P otherwise AT TIMES it can be a good thing ...

Thank you guys for dropping by!

Well if things were to go smooth always it wouldve been awesome. Nothing can go smooth ever, you just gotta live with highs and lows and life is gonnaa rock real hard!

@blowitall: Yup, I wouldn't disagree with you about that. Yet, one should always seek to move towards perfection... IMHO

"We havent had a fight since we got married and infact...hear me bore you to death bla bla bla...These are all superficial speeches seriously and even between couple of a love marriage there are politics yup family politics believe it or not but there are!!!

Tauqeer said...

@m3az: Okay, I wouldn't disagree with anything you have said this time.

Two people living together are bound to see up and downs in life, either it be personal conflicts or external pressures.

All what I have tried to explain is that one should try to idealise a situation and try to work its way towards it. What I have given is an ideal situation, perhaps never be achieveable, yet something to look for.

stop looking for things which aren't achieveable....simple as that...but again thats my view:P

ah, i totally agree with mindandbeyond! thank you!

and what's wrong with sarcasm???

Tauqeer said...

@mazza: Hehe I know where you guys are coming from, yet I just tried to give an ideal situation ;)

and erm... nothing wrong with the occasional sarcasm, yet it MAY lead to not-so-nice-feelings in return :P
